July 2 - 6: Parkersburg American Legion Fourth of July Carnival and Fireworks - Parkersburg City Park

July 2:

5 p.m. - Bingo
6 p.m. - Carnival opens

July 3:

5 p.m. - Bingo

July 4:

Noon - Carnival opens
1 p.m. - Bingo
10 p.m. - Fireworks!

Ringing of the Bell – Blennerhassett Island: To signify the formation of this great Country, the park staff will be ringing the bell 13 times to commemorate the 13 original colonies.

7:30-9:30 p.m.: Hocking Valley Scenic Railroad Park and Ride Shuttle - Railroad Depot to Hocking College. Shuttle is $4 per person.
8-10:30 p.m.: Food for sale by local groups and vendors or bring your own. No alcoholic beverages allowed.
10 p.m.: “Thunder in the Valley” Fireworks Spectacular

WASHINGTON COUNTY

Sat. July 6: Washington County Independence Day celebration; sponsored by Haessly Lumber, and Eramet - Washington County Fairgrounds

Food vendors, amusement rides, and fun games and activities for the entire family. Admission is $5 for adults, kids 10 and under are FREE.
