2019 Veteran's Day events across the Mid-Ohio Valley

PARKERSBURG W.Va. (WTAP) - Veteran's Day is on Monday, November 11, and the Mid-Ohio Valley has events planned to honor the fallen and veterans who served on this annual celebration. If your town is having a Veteran's Day event,, send us information to news@wtap.com and we will add it to the list.

- Open House at the Veteran's Museum of the Mid-Ohio Valley in Parkersburg: 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

- Parkersburg: Veteran's Day Parade: Parkersburg High School to City Park, beginning at 10 a.m. Participants line up at 9:30 a.m. Ceremony afterwards in City Park at 11 a.m.

- Vienna: Veteran's Day service at the Gold Star Memorial at Spencer's Landing at 28th St. and River Road. Begins at noon.

- After Parkersburg and Vienna events, Carlin's Battery D Civil War re-enactors holding an open house at Ft. Boreman Hill Historic Park cabin at 2 p.m.

- Marietta: Annual Veteran's Day parade: Begins at 10 a.m. Parade route begins at Fourth and Butler streets. Goes from Fourth Street to Putnam Street, then on to Front Street and the Veterans Memorial in Muskingum Park. A service will be held at the conclusion of the parade.

- Ripley: Annual Veteran' Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. Route is from Ripley High School and then along Church and Main streets to the Jackson County Courthouse. A ceremony at the Courthouse will follow at 11 a.m.
