Update: Two-car wreck sends three to the hospital

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - At first, it seemed like four cars were involved, but police say it was only two. The wreck happened about 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Camden Avenue and Division Street.

Police say they think a Pontiac Vibe sideswiped a Kia Forte when the driver of the Pontiac tried to turn left.

The two drivers and a passenger were taken to the hospital to be checked out. Both cars were towed.

The driver of the Pontiac was cited for failure to yield. Police say her name is Elizabeth Douglas.


Authorities responded Wednesday afternoon to a 4 vehicle crash that injured at least 3 people at the intersection of Division Street and Camden Avenue (Hwy 95) in Parkersburg.

The Wood County 911 Center says the crash happened at 4:21 P.M. Wednesday, and injured at least 3 people.
