3 jailed after authorities find heroin at Parkersburg home

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Three people were arrested Friday afternoon after authorities raided a Parkersburg home and found heroin and other drug paraphernalia.

Joshua M. Watts, 28, of Columbus, and Nina J. Propst, 64, of Parkersburg, remain in the North Central Regional Jail on drug charges.

Ally Propst, 24, of Parkersburg, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and is being held in the South Central Regional Jail.

Members of the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force and the U.S. Marshal’s Office made the arrests after executing a search warrant at 5107 Orchard Ave., Parkersburg, about 1 p.m. Friday. The search turned up about 20 grams of suspected heroin and other items consistent with the sale and distribution of controlled substances.

Watts was charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver heroin and one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver heroin. His bond was set at $300,000 during his arraignment in Wood County Magistrate Court.

Nina Propst was charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver heroin. Her bond was set at $200,000.

Ally Propst is being held without bond after being taken into custody by the U.S. marshals.

The Parkersburg Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force includes investigators from the Parkersburg Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Vienna Police Department, Williamstown Police Department and the West Virginia State Police.
