The city of Marietta announced that Shelly and Sands is constructing ADA ramps in Marietta beginning on Tuesday.

The construction of the ramps is part of the 2019 citywide paving project. The following streets will be affected by the ramp construction:

- 4th Street at the intersections of Putnam, Scammel and Wooster streets.

- 7th Street at the intersections of Wooster and Washington streets.

- Intersection of Lancaster Street and Fort Harmar Drive.

The ramp construction will continue until Sept. 6, weather permitting, and the milling and paving will occur later in September. Major delays are not expected, but motorists are asked to travel with caution and obey traffic signals.
