UPDATE: AEP Ohio restores power to customers in Washington county

UPDATE: 2/15/2018, 4:25 P.M.

AEP Ohio officials say power has been restored to nearly 400 customers near Veto Road in Washington County, after an outage Thursday morning.

Part of Veto Road is currently closed while crews move power poles so workers can repair a land slip near a deteriorating guard rail.

Veto Road is scheduled to be repaved later this year.

AEP Ohio officials say a power outage is affecting 348 customers near Veto Road in Washington County.

The outages are mostly along Veto Road, where crews are currently moving power poles along the road, so crews can repair a land slip near a deteriorating guard rail.

Veto Road is scheduled to be repaved later this year.
