WASHINGTON cOUNTY, Oh-(WTAP) UPDATE: 2/13/2019 2:20 P.M.
A Parkersburg man is injured after a single-vehicle accident that closed down Ohio route 7 near Newport in Washington County Wednesday morning.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Jesse Hilverding, 32, was driving a southbound 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup, when the truck went off the right side of the road.
The vehicle went onto a private driveway and struck a tree.
Hilverding was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital, with what the Patrol said were non-life threatening injuries.
Charges are pending from the accident.

UPDATE: The Ohio Department of Highways District 10 says State Route 7 has reopened between Dana Road and Reynolds Run Road, near Newport, in Washington County, following a crash with injuries Wednesday morning.
