VIENNA, W. Va. (WTAP)- When people going through similar struggles come together it can lead to good time.
That’s what those that attended the adaptive golf clinic experienced at the Parkersburg Country Club.
Miller Prosthetics and Orthotics and the Orthotic and Prosthetic Activities Foundation put on the event which helped those with prosthetics or amputations learn how to play golf.
They had the help of trainers and even special golfing equipment to cater to their needs.
The goal of the even is to show people that even if their lives may be different from a missing limb, they can still live life to the fullest.
