WALLACE, W.Va. (AP) - An 11-year-old boy died after an all-terrain vehicle crash in Harrison County on Saturday, authorities said.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened on Wetzel Lane near the community of Wallace and that it did not appear that the boy was wearing a helmet.

The boy's family members were also in the area driving ATVs at the time of the crash and rendered aid until emergency personnel arrived, authorities said.

The boy's name has not been released, but the sheriff's office said he was in West Virginia visiting relatives. His body was taken to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
