PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg says it will conduct an active shooter drill with local law enforcement on Friday, Dec. 14, from 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

The hospital says the active shooter drill will take place in the North Tower and old Emergency Room Entrance in the Security Office, and will involve officers from Parkersburg Police, Vienna Police, Wood County Sheriff's Office and Camden Clark Safety and Security.

Camden Clark officials say the drill will test the hospital's Emergency Management Plan and its preparedness for a potential active shooter incident, so the hospital can keep its patients, employees and visitors safe.
