Vienna, W. Va. It was a soggy, yet spooky Halloween throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley on Thursday.
Some braved the wind, rain, and cold, but other parents opted for a dry indoor trick-or-treating experience for their children at Grand Central Mall in Vienna.
The mall's annual 'Candy Crawl' allows children dressed in costume to go store to store and receive candy and other goodies.
The mall's General Manager said they received a high volume of calls regarding their indoor event because of the conditions outside.
The event brought out thousands of kids to the mall and organizers say despite any weather conditions, they look forward to providing a safe, family-friendly space for children to trick-or-treat every year.
