PARKERSBURG, WV (WTAP)-- The annual Color Me Fun 5-K Walk and Run was held in downtown Parkersburg Thursday evening.
Hundreds showed up in white tee-shirts and registered to run and be doused with powdered poster paints.
It was all in good fun, to help raise funds for WVU Children's Hospital.
Families, individuals and teams started at Point Park, ran out Avery Street and back on Market between 7 and 8 p.m.
Police helped out by holding back traffic for the fun-runners, a few minutes at a time.
The Fire Department helped clean-up by hosing down the streets.
While some ran the whole distance, others walked or helped direct traffic.
WTAP Staff members helped along the route again this year.
