Communications line removal on I-77 in Wood County on Sunday

WOOD COUNTY, W.Va. (WTAP) - The West Virginia Division of Highways announced that a communications line will be removed on I-77 on September 15.

Frontier Communications, along with Gudenkauf, will be removing a communication line beginning at milepost 179.4 to 179.6 on I-77. Crews will be working between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 a.m.

West Virginia State Police Officers, along with cruisers, will be performing a rolling roadblock north and south on I-77 to allow for safe removal of the line. The Emerson Avenue southbound ramp on I-77 will be held during the rolling roadblock.

Inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances could alter the work schedule.
