Easter Egg Hunt in Marietta uses helicopter

MARIETTA, Oh. (WTAP) - The story behind Easter is a positive one and one local church strived to spread this positivity to the community.
Pathway Community Church held an Easter Egg Hunt in Marietta Sunday morning.

This Easter Egg Hunt was a little different from others in the area though as the eggs came from a different type of flying bird.
That’s, right the eggs were dropped from a helicopter onto the Marietta Middle School football field.

Around 20,000 eggs were used as children of ages ran around collecting the plastic eggs from the grass.
Talking to some of the children they said they enjoyed the unique twist on a classic Easter Tradition.
