The Appalachian Ohio West Virginia Connectivity Summit had over 200 attendants today at Washington State Community college.
This included representatives for Senators Capito, Manchin, Brown and Portman, along with several Ohio and West Virginia Legislators.
It was held by the Citizens Connectivity Committee.
Members believe the lack of internet access is hurting our infrastructure, dividing us from other parts of the country.
Internet has become a necessity to complete daily tasks, and now essential to provide education for children.
The day was spent voicing the publics concerns to FCC Commissioner Migon Clyburn in attendance.
