Fire damages Mason County home

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Firefighters with the Mason Volunteer Fire Department say a house was damaged after a fire Friday evening.

They say the fire happened on the corner of Sixth High Street and Hartford Street.

Everyone made it out of the home safely but firefighters say they spent over two hours battling the fire even later returning to the fire rekindling.

It is unknown what started the fire and if the home is a total loss.
