BEVERLY, Ohio Fort Frye High School hosts its 5th annual "We Are Fort Frye" community day welcoming businesses and organizations from the community to speak to students in 7th through 12th grade giving them information on various careers and going to college.
Students visited various booths to learn more about the fields they would like to go into. The students also got a visit from Fort Frye High School alumni who gave them advice and spoke on being in their shoes before.
"We're having to evolve into something new and in order to thrive, said Kelli Walsh, guidance office secretary, Fort Frye High School. This gives the kids the chance to interact with the people who are here and help build their community and feel like they are more a part of it."
"We Are Fort Frye" has continued to grow every year expanding with more organizations getting involved.
This year the safe club raised over $1000 dollars for the Eve shelter.
