VIENNA, W.Va. (WTAP) - The Parkersburg Area Jaycees officially opened its Men's Clothing Closet today at Ohio Valley University. The closet will provide free professional men's attire for those in need. It is located at 1 Campus View Drive in room 62, adjacent to the OVU Bookstore.
No proof of financial background is required, you just need to book an appointment to visit the closet. To book an appointment call Jessica Anderson at 304-865-6172, or email at email@example.com.
“We have a lot of people, a lot of guys especially, that want a job, however, they may not have the proper attire for the interview. This allows them to get back into the workforce and no matter what type of attire they need; whether it’s an actual full suit or whether it may be something more business casual like khakis and a dress shirt. But we want to help our community in any way we can.” Explains Christian Wilcox, President of the Parkersburg Area Jaycees.
The Jaycees are a young professional group in Parkersburg, aiming to bring positive change to the community.
If you're interested in donating to the closet, you can drop off suit jackets, pants or ties at Hornor and Harrison on Murdoch Avenue.
