Generation MOV hosts W.Va. legislative candidates

PARKERSBURG, WV (WTAP)-- The West Virginia Primary season keeps rolling along...

...and Wednesday evening, a "Meet-and-Greet" with the candidates for West Virginia State Senate and House of Delegates is being held by "Generation MOV".

The group is a local branch of "Generation West Virginia", dedicated to attracting, retraining and advancing young talent in West Virginia.

Ten of the fifteen candidates attended and answered question fro the almost two dozen citizens present at the Parkersburg Public Library.

"The mission of Generation Mid-Ohio Valley is to retain and attract young people to the area," explains Vice President Christian Wilcox, "and we feel by giving them the opportunity to learn about candidates stances on various issues that are important to young people, that we are providing some value to young citizens of the county."

Each candidate had a chance to respond to questions on how they would accelerate the development of more jobs and to strengthen quality of place in our community.
