MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - Marietta Main Street host many crawls throughout the year, but Saturday, they wanted to celebrate the changing of the seasons with its first cider crawl.
Local downtown bars and businesses welcomed crawlers by serving them fall inspired drinks.
All proceeds from the crawl go directly back into the revitalizing of downtown Marietta.
"One of our goals of the fall cider crawl is to introduce people to the different types of bars and restaurants we have downtown and hopefully they get to try something they haven't tried before or enter a bar that maybe they haven't thought to go out to yet. We really want them to come back and just get used to downtown and supporting local businesses," said Thomas, executive director of Marietta Main Street.
Marietta Main Street will host a holiday crawl in December.
