PARKERSBURG, W. Va. (WTAP) - This year the Parkersburg Homecoming is replacing its fireworks with a laser light show one local organization thinks this is a good move for those who couldn’t normally enjoy the show.
We Have Your Six founder Gloria Husk says that the show which it has celebrated veterans and first responders in years past is now more friendly towards those that suffer from PTSD.
She says that the show will be similar in nature to a firework show with music choreographed to lasers and lights.
The laser light show is just one of the many changes to this years Homecoming which will also be held at Point Park differing from previous years.
