MARIETTA, Ohio Homecoming season is around the corner and 'Gowns for Your Day' is doing their part in making sure area high school girls have the perfect day.
Gowns for Your Day, started back in 2013 to help high school girls find homecoming and prom dresses without the financial stress.
The organization now has over 500 dresses donated by the community and many of the dresses are brand new from local businesses.
Charlotte Cox is the founder of Gowns for Your Day.
"So I think we're saving families a lot of money, we've had some parents moms especially say they're so thankful because its like 300 dollars for prom dresses, homecoming dresses. So, they're really thankful that their daughters can go to prom basically for free and homecoming, so its a big financial relief for a lot of families," said Cox.
Gowns for Your Day will have future dress drives before homecoming season next month and will post those dates on their Facebook page.
