WILLIAMSTOWN, W. Va. (WTAP) - Mid-Ohio Valley Restaurant week kicks off Monday and will continue through Saturday, February 29th.
Participating restaurants are offering special deals including 3 courses for $30. Local owners say this is a way to bring the community out to support local businesses and escape cabin fever.
"Restaurant week is a very exciting time because this time of year it's so cold outside, typically cold outside and people are ready to get out and get moving," said Chris restaurants typically see a downside of business, so this time of year brings them out," said Chris Bender, Da Vinci's, owner.
Bender says, Mid-Ohio Valley restaurant week started 4 years ago and is modeled after big cities who participate.
Restaurant week is sponsored by Gordon Food Service and Clutch MOV.
