PARKERSBRUG, W. Va. (WTAP) - With nights getting cooler many that don’t have a home look for shelters to escape the chill. We talked to one local shelter about how they prepare.
While daytime temperatures may be comfortable, overnight lows are getting colder this time of year
Talking to the Latrobe street mission they say they really don’t see an increase in homeless individuals until the winter months.
Even if this is the case, this time of year brings the need for donations and volunteers to help out and provide for those that do stay at the shelter.
If you are looking to volunteer at the mission they ask that you reach out as they are always looking for help.
