Some may feel a little blue after the holidays, but not everyone.

The end of the holiday season is upon us, and First Lutheran Church of Parkersburg is holding a traditional event.

Epiphany is the traditional service of celebration held on the 13th day after the birth of Christ.

A bonfire burning of the greens is held in the community garden lot adjacent to the church on 19th Street.

Hot chocolate and cookies were served after the service before the bonfire was lit.

Dozens of Christmas trees were torched in the controlled environment tonight.
