MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - "If you are running anyway, you might as well be chasing your dreams."
That's the advice of the keynote speaker at the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce's annual meeting dinner Monday night.

You may recognize his name from the movie "Million Dollar Arm." It's J.B. Bernstein. His legendary career in sports marketing inspired the movie.

He was at Marietta College to share his insights with the crowd about how to be successful. He talked about how to transform obstacles into opportunities.

"You're going to work like a dog your whole life. Do something you love. Find something that you're passionate about. Find something that you can make a difference. And then, you know what, the 30 to 40 years you spend working go by pretty good," he said.

New leadership at the chamber was also introduced Monday night. This is the 104th year for the dinner.
