Man and woman arrested for allegedly having suspected heroin

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, members of the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force made a traffic stop on a Green Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing West Virginia registration.

During the stop, Parkersburg Police Officer J. N. Dennison and his K9 partner “Cedric” made a positive indication. Agents say they found suspected heroin.

Renate Trippett was arrested for one count Possession w/Intent to Deliver Heroin. She was arraigned before Magistrate Kuhl whereas her bond was set at $15,000 cash only.

William James Baker was arrested for a Federal Supervised Release Revocation and was turned over to the U. S. Marshal Service.
