Marietta City Employees deemed non-essential told to "stay home"

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - As the coronavirus pandemic continues to go on, many employers are telling their staff to stay home if they're considered "non-essential." Which is what Marietta city officials did as they closed up many of their city buildings to the public and have told workers that they need to stay home.

The workers will continue to be paid and will be on call. They will continue to do this action until told otherwise and will listen to the Ohio's CDC and be notified of any changes.
