UPDATE: Man in stable condition after wreck in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a man is recuperating in the hospital after a crash Monday afternoon in Morgan County, Ohio.

Troopers say the man was flown by helicopter to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He's in stable condition.

The woman in his car was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital. Troopers say their car went over an embankment and hit a guardrail about 2:45 this afternoon.

It was near State Route 60 and Hooppole Ridge Road. Their names haven't been released yet.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash with injuries on State Route 60 in Morgan County.

It happened about 2:45 p.m. Monday near the intersect on of E. Hooppole Ridge Road.

An patrol dispatcher said there was a driver and passenger in the car and that a MedFlight helicopter was called to the scene.
