PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - As 2020 begins, multiple Mid-Ohio Valley families welcomed newborns into the world.

The Bourne family of Ripley, West Virginia welcomed Tyler Joseph on New Year’s Day at 4:22 p.m.

Born at West Virginia University Camden Clark Medical Center, baby Tyler is named after a cousin who died, and his grandfather.

Tyler is Brenda Bourne’s third child, and while she’s feeling good about Tyler, she’s done having kids.

“I’m done. I’m done. I’m getting my tubes tied. Done,” said Bourne.

And as the first born baby at Camden Clark, baby Tyler was gifted a kit full of baby equipment by volunteers at the hospital.

WTAP will have more on the New Year’s babies on Friday.
