WOOD COUNTY, W.Va.-(WTAP) The drivers of two vehicles walk away from a serious accident Tuesday afternoon on West Virginia Route 68 near Lubeck.
It happened just before noon, when the driver of a Pontiac Firebird swerved to avoid a turkey crossing the roadway, and was rear-ended by a GMC SUV.
The car overturned on its top, landing in a ditch on the side of the roadway.
Responders at the scene tell us no one was transported.
It's not known whether anyone was cited from the accident.
The Wood County Sheriff's office investigated the accident, and the Lubeck Volunteer Fire Department responded.
