PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Parkersburg Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that caused traffic delays Wednesday on the Parkersburg entrance to the Memorial Toll Bridge.

The Wood County 911 Center says firefighters responding to the crash scene say no one was injured in the crash.

However, police say the crash has backed up traffic on the Parkersburg side of the bridge, affecting drivers on part of Ohio Avenue near the Emerson Avenue and Murdoch Avenue intersection.

Police are still clearing the crash scene and investigating the cause of the crash.

So far, investigators have not confirmed any details on the vehicle that left the crash scene.
