No one injured in Nash Street fire

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A Parkersburg neighborhood road was closed late Wednesday afternoon while crews fought a house fire on Nash Street.

Parkersburg Fire Chief Jason Mathews says no one was home when the fire broke out before 4:30 Wednesday evening. It was all contained to a back room of the home, and crews had it out within an hour.

The Parkersburg Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
