No serious injuries in crash between car, delivery truck on Garfield Avenue

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A t-bone style collision between a Ford Mustang and a delivery truck closed traffic on Garfield Avenue for a short time Tuesday afternoon, but police said there were no serious injuries.

The crash happened about 3:15 p.m. near the 6th Street intersection, which is near the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Hospital emergency room entrance.

Police said the driver of the Mustang was examined at the scene by medical personnel but did not appear to be seriously injured.

Police have not said what caused the crash, which remains under investigation.

Units from the Parkersburg Fire Department and Camden Clark Ambulance Service responded to the crash.
