Ohio home contractor indicted on 70 charges, accused of stealing over $400K

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ohio An area home improvement contractor was indicted by the Washington County grand Jury on 70 charges for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from victims.

Four of those victims are elderly.

29 year-old Patrick Wilson is indicted on 68 counts of theft and one count each of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and telecommunications fraud.

The crimes took place between January 2017 and June 2019.

According to a news release from the Ohio Attorney General's office Wilson's victims were in West Virginia and Ohio, including Washington County in Ohio and Pleasants, Wood and Tyler Counties in West Virginia.

The indicted claims that Wilson would take large down payments for home repairs that were never completed.

Wilson also used different last night and has done business under the names Logan Madison Construction, Twin Building Supply, C&M Construction and Wilson Contracting.
