Open Interviews for full-time auto assembly jobs will be held Wednesday, Aug. 9, from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. at Manpower, 1047 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg.

According to Manpower of West Virginia's Parkersburg office, the hiring company doesn't want to be publicly named yet, but it's looking for 30 to 35 unskilled, general-labor workers for full-time positions at an auto-assembly business in Parkersburg.

The workers will initially be hired and trained by Manpower to work full-time hours at the assembly line for a probationary period of a few months, after which the auto-assembly business will directly hire the best-performing workers into permanent, full-time positions.

Manpower representatives say applicants don't need any special skills or experience to qualify for these jobs, but applicants must be comfortable working on a fast-paced assembly line and learning new skills while on the job.

Interviews will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at Manpower's Parkersburg offices, 1047 Emerson Avenue.
