Parkersburg Utility Board cancels boil-water advisory

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - UPDATE: 12/19/18 7:30 P.M.

The boil advisory affecting customers on several Parkersburg streets this week has been lifted, according to the Parkersburg Utility Board.


The Parkersburg Utility Board issued a Boil Water Advisory on Wednesday, affecting water customers on several streets until further notice, due to a water main break.

Customers on the following streets in Parkersburg are affected by the Boil Water Advisory, until further notice:

1500-1800 blocks of DuPont Avenue
2000 & 2100 blocks of 12th Avenue
1600-1700 blocks of 14th Avenue
1400-1900 blocks of 15th Avenue
Brenda Avenue
Jeffrey Street
Minner Street
Newberry Drive
Vaught Terrace

The Parkersburg Utility Board says it will notify affected customers when the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.
