Parkersburg man jailed after police raid home on Pearcy Avenue

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Police arrested a Parkersburg man on drug charges after raiding a home on Pearcy Avenue on Thursday, authorities said.

Marcus McDonald, 36, remains in the North Central Regional Jail on a $150,000 bond after his arrest on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver.

Parkersburg Police Chief Joseph Martin said officers found suspected heroin and fentanyl and a large amount of cash and other drug paraphernalia while executing a search warrant at his home at 1800 Pearcy Ave.

Martin said McDonald also had two outstanding warrants on charges of delivery of a controlled substance.
