Pleasants County man accused of selling meth near school

ST. MARYS, W.Va. (WTAP) - A Pleasants County man remained in the North Central Regional Jail on Friday accused of selling methamphetamine to a juvenile near a school.

The Pleasants County Sheriff's Office arrested Timothy J. Knight, 36, on Thursday.

Deputies said Knight allegedly sold meth to a juvenile within 1,000 feet of a public school.

Knight's bond was set at $40,000 during his arraignment in Pleasants County Magistrate Court.

St. Marys Police and the West Virginia State Police assisted in the investigation.
