Polar Plunge to take place in Parkersburg on Saturday

PARKERSBURG, W. Va. (WTAP) - With cold temperatures expected this weekend the last thing that might come to your mind is going for a swim outside.
You can do exactly this though while raising money for a charitable cause.
The 7th annual Polar Plunge will be taking place this Saturday at Point Park Marketplace to raise money for the West Virginia Special Olympics.
The money helps the Special Olympics provide sports training and athletic competition for those that have intellectual disabilities.
