Marietta Police looking for two people accused of stealing from local stores

The Marietta Police Department needs your help identifying two people accused of stealing merchandise from stores in Marietta on October 5 and 16.

Police say the first theft happened on October 5, when a man stole nearly $600 worth of merchandise from Marietta Tractor Supply.

That investigation revealed an employee heard the audible alarm sound at the front exit and witnessed a male running through the parking lot pushing a cart.

The cart had 2 Dewalt boxes with the security tags still attached.

The employee then saw the man load the boxes into a silver car.

The store’s manager ran out of the store and saw a silver 2-door Pontiac like vehicle with an Ohio license plate drive away from the area.

The second theft happened on October 16 at Marietta Bridgeport Equipment.

The investigation revealed a woman entered the store, concealed a pair of boots in her purse and allegedly left the store without paying for the boots.
