Ravenswood High School hosts a huge archery competition. The Ravenswood archery team is in its 4th season.

There are 21 schools from many counties in West Virginia who compete including elementary, middle, and high school students.

Nathan Moore is the senior captain at Ravenswood High and has been on the archery team since he was a sophomore. He says anyone can do archery if they are interested.

"Let's just say you aren't a super athletic person physically, you don't have to be super strong or super fast to shoot archery," said Moore, senior captain. "So someone who may be like a band person or a super intellectual person who's not really physical can easily do archery because all you have to do is pull back a bow."

There were almost 600 students who participated.
