Rocky Brands announces layoffs
An area boot manufacturer cuts jobs in multiple locations.
According to a statement from Rocky Brands, the company laid off 20 employees.
Those layoffs happened at its corporate headquarters in Nelsonville, at its outlet store in Nelsonville and at its distribution center in Logan, Ohio.
Rocky's president and c-e-o says the company has faced decreased sales over the past six months.
Rocky is known for its boots, but it also sells other outdoor gear, like jackets and gloves.
