1 person hurt in I-77 rollover crash

PARKERSBURG W.Va. (WTAP) - One person was taken to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center after an SUV overturned on Interstate 77 Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The single-vehicle crash happened in the southbound lane near milepost 172.8, which is just past the northbound Camden Avenue exit.

The driver hasn't been identified.

One southbound lane remained closed while emergency crews worked at the scene.

Firefighters from Parkersburg, Mineral Wells and Lubeck responded to the crash, which happened about 5:30 p.m.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
