SUV driver to be cited in crash with ambulance, authorities say

BELLEVILLE, W.Va. (WTAP) - The driver of an SUV will be cited after his vehicle went left of center and hit an ambulance and another vehicle Tuesday afternoon on Route 68 north of Belleville, authorities said.

The crash happened about 3:15 p.m. near D's Saloon Bar & Grill in the 10,000-block of Route 68.

No one was injured, and authorities said the Camden Clark ambulance was not carrying any patients at the time.

The names of the drivers haven't been released, but the Wood County Sheriff's Office said the SUV driver was at fault and will be cited in the crash.

All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
