Mike Foley, the district 3 construction engineer for the West Virginia Division of Highways, says the single lane closures will now begin on Monday, April 22.

The West Virginia Division of Highways says single lane closures on U.S. 50 will start Monday, April 15.
It's due to crews performing micro surfacing , crack sealing, rock borrow, and pothole repair. The work begins approximately 0.19 miles west of County Route 50/32, Townsend Road, at milepost 19.00, to the Ritchie County line at milepost 24.13.
Crews will be working between 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The work is expected to be completed by June 14.
