WOOD COUNTY, W.Va. (WTAP) - There will be single-lane closures on a section of Route 50 in Wood County starting on Monday, the West Virginia Division of Highways announced on Friday.
A contractor will be performing micro-surfacing, crack-sealing, rock burrow and pothole repairs on a section of the highway starting approximately .19 miles west of County Route 50/32, Townsend Road, at milepost 19, to the Ritchie County line at milepost 24.13
The work will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Motorists can expect minor delays and are urged to drive with caution and obey all traffic-control devices in the work zone.
Weather permitting, the estimated completion date is June 14, the DOH said.
