Slip repair to close Garfield Road in Wirt County Monday

WIRT COUNTY, W.Va. (WTAP) - The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced that Wirt County Route 7, Garfield Road, will be closed beginning on Monday.

Crews will be performing a slip repair on the road, beginning near the intersection of Wirt County Route 22, Lynn Camp Road.

Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily until March 11.

School-bus traffic and mail-delivery vehicles will be accommodated during the work. Other motorists should use alternate routes. The road will re-open each day at 6 p.m.

Inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances could change the work schedule.
