Sugar Camp Road in Wood County to be closed on Wednesday

WOOD COUNTY, W.Va. (WTAP) - The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced that Wood County Route 40, Sugar Camp Road, will be closed on October 9 for a culvert replacement.

The work will begin one mile southwest from the junction of Route 21, Southern Highway. Crews will work between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The roadway will be closed to all traffic, but school buses will be accommodated. Motorists are asked to plan ahead and use alternate routes.

Inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances may change the work schedule.
