Suspect in Fairmont shooting death remains at large

FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WDTV) - A man sought by authorities in the shooting death of a 27-year-old man in Fairmont on Wednesday remains at large, authorities said.

Police are looking for Christopher Keldo, 27, of Morgantown, in connection with the death of Justin KaShawn, 27.

Authorities said Keldo, who also uses the aliases Chris Kavali, Kavali Rose and Tyrone Cutler, might have connections in Maryland, Virginia and South Carolina.

Police said the shooting happened about 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday outside at home on Hawthorn Street near where KaShawn was staying. It might have been a “targeted” shooting, investigators said.

A vehicle believed to have been involved in the shooting is now in police custody.
